The New Chapter: Shipping from the Void

After 20+ years of writing code—from the high-frequency heartbeats of Quantitative Trading backends to the sprawling logic of Full-stack architectures—I've realized that the most valuable thing a developer can do is stay lean and keep shipping.

As I shift my focus entirely towards building Useful AI Applications, I'm also simplifying how I communicate with the world.

📍 Where to find me

From now on, I will only be maintaining and updating my content in two places:

  1. This Digital Garden (MDX): For deep dives, architectural thoughts, and long-form technical "Vibes."
  2. X (@dow-ma): For real-time shipping updates, quick AI insights, and daily dev-log snippets.

🧠 Why MDX?

Because code shouldn't just be described, it should be alive. MDX allows me to blend my narrative with React components—perfect for showcasing AI agents in action or real-time data visualizations.

// Current Mindset
const dowMa = {
  status: "Shipping",
  philosophy: "Vibe Coding",
  stack: ["AI", "Next.js", "Go", "Python"],
  motto: "Predict the future by shipping it."
};

🚀 The Mission: Useful AI

I'm not just interested in AI; I'm interested in utility. The goal is to bridge the gap between complex models and real-world workflows. Whether it's an agent that automates your research or a system that optimizes your trading, the focus is on shipping code that makes a difference.

Join me on this journey. Let's build something useful.
